How to use Balsamic Vinegar
Balsamic vinegar joined our collection two years ago and we get a lot of love for this product, especially at the markets and food fairs that we attend. Not only does this bottle look great on a kitchen shelf the balsamic vinegar itself is delicious!!
One thing we often notice when talking to our customers about our balsamic vinegar is how little uses people have for this wonderfully versatile product. So today we are putting that right! Below are a few balsamic vinegar uses that we have discovered over the years, but do let us know if we have missed any great ways to utilise this ingredient at info@brockandmorten.com.
Balsamic Vinegar for Dipping
This is one of the most popular uses for balsamic vinegar and whats not to love. Freshly baked bread dipped into balsamic vinegar which has been topped with delicious rapeseed oil. We can definitely recommend trying the garlic or smoked rapeseed oil for this dish.
Balsamic Vinegar on Salads
A great use for balsamic vinegar is to drizzle over salads. From grain salads to warm vegetable salads, it adds a great flavour!
Balsamic Vinegar with Roasted Vegetables
Adding balsamic vinegar to roasted vegetables is a great way to add a depth of flavour to a regular dish. It works particularly well with butternut squash.
Balsamic Vinegar with Cocktails
A great use for balsamic vinegar is to use it in cocktails. This adds a twist to a fun drink. Our recommedation is to try with sangria!
