Honey

If you have come across us at one of the events we attend you may have seen that we have been selling honey from the bees that live on our farm for a little while now. We are now delighted to be able to offer this through our online shop too!

In June 2015 we took on some hives of honey bees to enjoy the surrounding of our farm and provide a safe and happy home for them to live and create from. Oil seed rape crop produces a large amount of nectar and honey bees can produce a light coloured but peppery honey from it.

This honey is now available to buy alongside our rapeseed oils and mayonnaise range. It is as versatile as our other products and is great used on its own, or within cooking and baking. Keep an eye out on our recipes page for some delicious ideas for how to use this product.

Our favourite way to use our honey in cooking is in a delicious summer salad with a lemon rapeseed oil and honey dressing, or combining our smoked rapeseed oil with honey and mustard to make a sticky glaze for autumnal pork.
